Big fan of Live, and sorry to hear of the split, although if his supposed actions actually happened as reported by the rest of the band then I'm siding with them over that one.

Still, interested to hear what his solo stuff's like.

I had to look up Miggs and Thriving Ivory on YouTube and I swear, the first video I played by Thriving Ivory had the same chord sequence as the first song I found by Miggs. Can't say I was impressed with either of them to tell you the truth. Straight no-frills 4-chord guitar-pop. Decent vocalists but the songs are just a bit too predictable and plain for my liking.

Not that I'm against 4-chord music as a whole, but there's a world of difference between say, Counting Crows and the stuff that these guys are doing.

i hear you...i really want to see what Ed's solo stuff is like and i will usually get a better first impression from a live show than a recording so I'm tempted to see what he's got these days..

kinda funny about the youtube thing...
