Representatives of the will definitely be at one of the shows.  We recommend you don’t miss this very last opportunity to see before they dissolve, and this brief(?) reunion of is their first in years.  Catch this show, or spend the rest of your life explaining why you weren’t there.  Remember GNR / FNM / in the early 90’s?  Do NOT miss this .

will be playing 2009

Twelve more bands have been announced for 2009.  Former and lead vocalist will be playing, as will be giants Journey!

will be playing his solo meterial and the appearance follows the recent release of his 3rd solo , , last week.

I’ve not heard yet, but rest assured, I’ll be reviewing it soon.  His first solo , is a work of genius, but sadly his 2nd effort, , didn’t hit the same heights.

Incidentally, if you haven’t heard , get yourself onto Spotify and check it out.  Superb stuff.

has stated to the press that a reunion is unlikely to ever happen, and that the various former members of the had put a lid on their days.  Ah well.  Another great I’ll never get a chance to see .

Skin as they were in the mid 90's

rockers Skin will be appearing, making their first appearance since 1998!  Once upon a time, almost every gig I went to, Skin seemed to be supporting, but alas they disbanded during the decline in popularity of in the late 90’s.  Is this the beginning of the second era of Skin?  Who knows, but if you’re into 80’s/90’s with some proper guitar solos and you happen to be going to , check them out!

Also added to the bill are Down, , , , , , , and Karma To Burn.

The so far (in no particular order) :

Whitesnake
Motley Crue

Journey

Skin

The
Down

Pendulum

Buckcherry

Devildriver

The Blackout

Trent Reznor, Nine Inch Nails

Trent Reznor,

The is said to be ending in Las Vegas in December, but worldwide dates are yet to be announced.

Trent Reznor recently announced that this was to be ’ last in their current format.

opinion:  Hopefully this will be Europe-bound.  We’d like to see more from the superb “ on the set-list too!  This may be your last chance to see in all their energetic glory, following Trent Reznor’s recent statement that would never play again in their current format.   Sounds like Trent Reznor plans to take in a new direction, so watch this space.  In another recent announcement, Reznor admitted that he has been in the studio recently, recording ’s first new since in 2003.  We can’t wait to hear it!

Verdict: Unmissable!
